Mulilo Danish Vocational Education & Training Program in Composite Technology
The goal of the Program is to provide students with
- knowledge about composite production, incl. the equipment, tools, moulds, documentation, and safety standards applied to the production of composite parts and products in Denmark and Europe
- basic practical workshop skills and experience in industry-relevant application of this knowledge on small-scale composite production and product repair processes.
The knowledge, skills, and competencies obtained from completing the program will enable the student to work – and supervise, guide & inspire others - as a skilled Assistance Composite Operator in the composite industry for e.g. wind turbine blades production, as an independent composite workshop service provider for production or repair services, or as a quality inspector/LEAN supervisor in basic manufacturing areas
Program Structure & Learning Outcomes
The full program duration is 9 1/2 months, which include a 1-week introduction session in Pretoria, South Africa, and 37 weeks’ subsequent full-time education and workshop-based vocational training at the Techcollege main campus in Aalborg, DK. These also include a continuous (4 weeks in total) modular program element in Personal Growth & Leadership, provided jointly for all Mulilo Danish Vocational Program (MDVP) tracks at Techcollege.
Upon program completion, students receive a Techcollege Diploma, confirming the achieved non-formal vocational competency as Assistant Composite Operator, based on completion of app. 75% of the full curriculum of the Danish Composite Operator vocational education (excl. work practise)
